About Lemoncraft Studio

We're a small, fully remote team of designers and developers who care deeply about quality. We craft high-end product experiences and strive to deliver maximum value to our clients and their customers.

What you'll be doing

As a Product Designer, you'll be jumping into ongoing projects with us and helping bring product ideas to life, from rough sketches / requirement documents to polished interfaces.

  • Thinking through requirements and proposing smart, user-centered solutions
  • Creating wireframes/user flows and high-fidelity mockups
  • Designing the final user interfaces following the design system
  • Maintaining design system components and documentation
  • Collaborating with developers to make sure designs translate well to code
  • Keeping an eye on the little details: spacing, hierarchy, accessibility, all that good stuff
  • Bonus points if you're comfortable with motion/interaction design or animations (not required though!)

How we work

We keep our process simple. Tasks live in Linear, quick communication is via Slack, and designs in Figma. We try to avoid unnecessary meetings and prefer async communication. You can work whenever works for you, as long as things get done on time.

This probably isn't for you if

  • You need step-by-step instructions. Since we are a small team, we need someone who is self-driven.
  • You don't enjoy figuring things out or working with some ambiguity.
  • You're attached to your own ideas. We design for users, not our portfolios.

Contract position (with room to grow)

This is a contract position to start averaging about 2-3 hours per day, but if things go well, it could turn into a full-time position.

Our hiring process

We like to keep things simple and wrap everything up within a week. Here are our steps:

  • Portfolio review: We start by checking out your work. If it looks like a good match, we move to step 2.
  • Short intro chat: A quick 30-minute call to get to know each other, discuss the role, and answer any questions.
  • Paid test project: If the chat goes well, we will send over a small, real-world task. You will be compensated for your time.
  • Wrap-up: After the test project, we will either:
    • Send a confirmation email with compensation details and book a final chat to talk next steps, or
    • Send you thoughtful feedback on what could be improved and why we're not moving forward.

That's it! Just a friendly way to figure out if we're a good fit.

How to apply

Sound like a good fit? Awesome, we love to hear from you! Just send us:

  • A quick note about you and your experience
  • A link to your portfolio (Figma, Dribbble, website, whatever works)
  • Your availability

Send it over to hello@lemoncraft.studio with the subject line 'Product Designer – Application' and we'll get back to you as soon as we can!
